No Electricity Day

Last week on Tuesday 3rd February, the Year 4’s decided to have a school-wide No Electricity day in order to help conserve energy. That meant we were not allowed to use our interactive whiteboards, iPads, laptops, lights and or even the kettle for the teachers’ tea! Paper registers went around to all classes in the morning and lots of teachers decided to have their classes outside in the sun where it was nice and bright. Unfortunately, we don’t have any pictures to show you as we were not allowed to use our cameras or phones either! It was a good way for everyone to see how much we depended on using electricity and how we can conserve energy.
