Grade 5 Taking Authentic Action To Reduce Plastic

Grade 5 presented their actions to reduce plastic and involve the whole school community in bringing out a change. One of the groups visited the plastic recycling unit to see its functioning.  They also learned about how non biodegradable items can be upcycled. Some of them discussed about how plastic can be reduced in our daily lives and the alternatives to using plastic. one group even visited the major supermarkets in Qatar and talked to their managers about the importance of switching to reusable bags to reduce non biodegradable waste.

Grade 5 will then be presenting their study in the PYP Expo on April 21. Well done Grade 5 and looking forward to the expo.
