Food review and composting at QAS

This week, as a part of Roots & Shoots activity, we reviewed the food served in the lunch buffet at school. We noted down the number of fresh food trays, the number of non vegetarian and vegetarian trays and the calorific value of food that we have every day. The calories in the drinks were also noted down. We decided to talk to the cafeteria food suppliers regarding easily biodegradable alternatives for take away plates.
