Our Grade 8 students have been hard at work designing and building their own ecosystems in science! Through this hands-on project, they are exploring how matter cycles between living and nonliving components and uncovering the crucial role of photosynthesis in sustaining life. From aquatic habitats to self-sustaining terrariums, students are applying their knowledge to model real-world ecosystems and deepen their understanding of energy flow and nutrient cycling.
