Eco-Friendly Innovation: Upcycling Dustbins into Vertical Gardens
In a creative endeavor to promote sustainability, students from grades 7 to 11 took part in an Eco Club project that transformed discarded dustbins into vibrant vertical gardens. With the support of school operations, the used bins were cleaned, dried, and cut into smaller pots. Students then selected a Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) and painted it onto each pot. The pots were adorned with colorful plants, carefully nurtured by the students. The Eco Council plans to replicate this project in various parts of the school, spreading the message of environmental consciousness.
