Earth Day 2025 at SCS

Safa Community School marked Earth Day with enthusiasm, creativity, and a deep sense of environmental responsibility. The entire school community came together to raise awareness and take meaningful steps towards a more sustainable future.

To honour the occasion, pupils were invited to wear a green accessory as a symbol of their commitment to the planet. From green hats and socks to handmade badges and hairbands, the school was awash in vibrant shades of green, creating a lively and unified atmosphere.

Throughout the day, green-themed activities were woven into the curriculum across all year groups. Whether through eco-art projects, sustainability-themed stories, science experiments on renewable energy, or discussions about environmental issues, pupils engaged thoughtfully with the theme of the day.

In a powerful gesture of mindfulness and reflection, both pupils and staff embraced a device-free day. Without the usual digital distractions, classrooms were filled with face-to-face interaction, collaborative learning, and hands-on experiences. This initiative encouraged everyone to slow down, reconnect with nature, and appreciate the world around them.

Earth Day at Safa Community School served as a reminder that even small actions can make a big difference. Through creativity, collaboration, and care for the environment, the school community demonstrated its ongoing commitment to building a greener, more sustainable future for all.
