ADHSA Student Raahim Shines bright at Cop29

The panel discussion on Global Climate Issues & Solutions proved to be a truly enriching experience. Moderating the event allowed me to delve deeply into critical topics such as localized climate impacts, the role of cultural practices in promoting sustainability, and the incredible potential of youth-driven action in Asia. It was inspiring to hear from distinguished panelists like Ms. Gunjan Nanda, Ms. Maria Iruj, and Ms. Nazia Qazi, who offered unique insights from their work in climate advocacy, research, and sustainable fashion. The dialogue underscored the importance of collaboration, both within and beyond borders, to tackle shared challenges like transboundary pollution and urban resilience. I was particularly moved by the emphasis on harnessing traditional knowledge and empowering young people to take significant action within their communities. The event not only illuminated innovative climate solutions but also reinforced the urgency of uniting our efforts toward a sustainable future. I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a dynamic conversation and hope it inspires continued dedication to climate advocacy and education.
