ADHSA student Josie started her own business making sustainable pet treats and up-cycled pet products. The pet treats are made so the ingredients sourced with carbon footprint in mind: as local as possible, organic where possible, and/or human-grade food waste. The potential of her idea has been recognised and she has won a place as a Spinney’s teen trailblazer, with the chance of having her product developed and stocked in stores.
