LAND LOVERS OF PIES
Members of Bhavan’s Natura, Eco Club, are very keen to nurture different kinds of plants in their Organic garden. They enthusiastically dedicate their leisure time to planting, watering, transplanting, clearing weeds, harvesting and marketing their crops.
Their endeavor is whole heartedly assisted by supporting staff member Mr. Sasi, who advices them on how to mix sandy soil with organic soil and When and how different seeds can be planted.
Harvesting is another amazing activity of the Natura members. After harvesting, fresh vegetables will be packed in paper bags and kept ready for marketing. Organic vegetables displayed with reasonable prices is readily bought by staff members.
Complimentary vegetable kits have been given to volunteers of Natura by the Principal, Mrs. Girija Baiju to instill healthy eating habits among the Bhavanites.
