On June 9th, World Oceans Day was celebrated at Al Saad Indian School to acknowledge and spread the importance of protecting the oceans from various threats and pollutions. An informative assembly was conducted to propagate the theme of 2023 World Ocean Day ‘Planet Ocean: tides are changing’. Creative writing activities such as story sequencing, make the layers of the ocean, acrostic poem on world ocean day, word search and doodle were organized for grades 3 to 8. It was indeed an informative as well as creative.
