Al Muna Primary School Readathon

In preparation for our book day at Al Muna we had a Readathon. We had to read as many books as we could in 5 days and search hard for sponsors! We read so many books, one girl in Year 1 managed to read 27 books. Amazing! We managed to raise a huge amount of money – over 5000AED! We all love reading at Al Muna and as Dr Seuss says ‘The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you will go!’ All of the money we raised will be going to support some children in the Philippines as well as helping them to love reading and enjoy learning as much as we do. Well done everyone who took part!

That’s great, well done everyone! Was there a particular favourite book in the Readathon? I’ll add it to my reading list!

Diary of a Wimpy Kid seems popular at the moment!
