As a part of Roots & Shoots activity, we did some gardening to beautify the front yard at QAS. The students used our old pots to fill in some soil and plant flowering plants. Our front yard looks much greener after our hard work.
After their research on desert biomes, we also discussed and brainstormed about various ways in which we could take action to protect the animals in the desert from getting extinct. One of our students came up with the idea of speaking in the morning assembly to the rest of their friends.
